Performance Videos

I’m experienced in recording and mixing high quality live filmed performances. These are a great way to package an EP, and striking the balance between sounding live and polished is something that I’ve learned over the various projects of these types in which I’ve been involved.

My setup can be scaled to suit moody acoustic arrangements, or full band performances (as pictured). To achieve good isolation between elements without losing the ‘live’ energy, mic choice and placement is key, and my experience in this type of session has allowed me the knowledge to confidently make the right decisions for the project.

Location Recording

As well as the countryside base, my recording setup is designed to capture on-location performances, allowing artists to find interesting and characterful spaces, where music can be showcased in an environment which enriches the atmosphere.

I’ve done these in churches, fields, pubs, houses and more, so can accommodate most environments and styles. I also have access to excellent musical directors and videographers if you’re interested in filming this type of session.

If you’re interested in recording with me either in Norfolk, at a session or on location, do get in touch using the details below or the form here
